On September 10, 2005, the Indianapolis Budokan
hosted Nicklaus Suino sensei for a seminar on Muso
Jikiden Eishin-ryu Iaido.
The event was well attended by folks from throughout
the midwest, and, as always, Suino sensei's distinct and
energetic style of teaching ensured the event was a
great success!
The day started with Kihon (fundamentals of
swordsmanship), then progressed to the Batto-ho no Bu
set of Eishin-ryu, and ended with a session of tameshigiri
(test cutting)--a big hit!
Our dojo wishes to thank everyone who attended. It
was great to meet new people and see some familiar
faces. Most of all however, we wish to thank Suino
sensei for his instruction and warmth!
